Is a long-term visit visa worth it?

Family visit visa

Business visit visa

Business visitors also use the Standard Visitor visa. Permitted activities include meetings, conferences, site visits and negotiating contracts. You cannot do paid work for a UK company. Marriage visitor visa

Step 1 — Complete the online application

Apply at gov.uk. Step 4 — Attend the appointment

Step 5 — Submit your documents

• Read the refusal notice carefully. It cites the exact grounds under specific paragraphs of the Immigration Rules — that letter is your instruction manual.

• Wait until something has genuinely changed. There is no mandatory waiting period, but reapplying next week with the same documents wastes another £135.
